Feisty Jazz Sounds of Nancy Wilson
NANCY WILSON has a dramatic, very meaningful beautiful jazz voice. It is difficult for some singers to wrap themselves around some highly complex forms of musicality. But for Nancy Wilson that scenario is no problem at all. The haunting Wilson voice on 'Guess Who I Saw Today?' is so eery and intensely vibrant. It sticks in my memory much like the Picasso art masterpiece, 'The Lovers.'
