Feisty Jazz Sounds of Nancy Wilson

NANCY WILSON has a dramatic, very meaningful beautiful jazz voice.  It is difficult for some singers to wrap themselves around some highly complex forms of musicality.  But for Nancy Wilson that scenario is no problem at all.  The haunting Wilson voice on 'Guess Who I Saw Today?' is so eery and intensely vibrant.  It sticks in my memory much like the Picasso art masterpiece, 'The Lovers.'

American Journalists

THE FINE U.S.A. is a grand place.  One reason for this happiness is the fact our American Journalists do a fantastic job.  The passionate Brian Williams and the terrific Lawrence O'Donnell are superb humans in the word business.  The Washington Post souls are superior writers and editors, also.  The super spirit of Carl Bernstein and Bob Woodward lives on.

Michael Connelly....A Super Thriller Novelist

MR. MICHAEL CONNELLY is a fine, grand writer.  His thriller novels are packed with clever characters and plenty of fun for the reading souls of the world.  His recent book, 'The Wrong Side of Goodbye' is memorable because it gives sleek new machinations for the sophisticated protagonist Harry Bosch.

Renoir....The Sophisticated Impressionist

AUGUSTE RENOIR was a masterful innovator in the art world.  He led the fervent development of Impressionism.  His paintings with all their shimmering use of paints overwhelm us in a terrific sense of the word.  The French culture feels dramatically incredible with chic innovative art minds like Auguste Renoir.

Like the vivid North Carolina naturalism shown (in number 2 position) here the art of Auguste Renoir provides wonderful emotional enjoyment for each and everyone of us.  His 'Dance at Moulin De La Galette' (number 1 position) is one of my favorites.

Fabulous Ariana Grande

ARIANA      awesome today.  I watched her Manchester show on the mighty Freeform channel today.  Oh Wow, it was so terrific.  The beautiful lady hit a tremendous cultural home run with this one.  I cried like a child watching Ariana perform.  This kind of passionate show
was  super inspiring.  The gigantic love like this angelic art {portrayed here} is tremendously exemplified by the grand artistry of Ariana Grande.

Europe Rocks...Oh Yes!

TRAVELED TO EUROPE recently.  The trip proved wild and vivid.  I loved the passion of France and Italy.  And Barcelona Spain was terrific also.  Grand travel times indicate more vigor in our souls.  I feel good when I get intellectual.  Like the picture below all of you can see that I am a complex man.

The Deep South U.S.A. Experience

SOUTHERN PEOPLE like me feel so intellectually hard to explain.  I know our ersatz culture seems thick and at times absurd.  Yet, we have plenty of passions.  My books show my bizarre modes.
.  Unusual writers like Erskine Caldwell and William Faulkner proved that long ago.  I believe I am blessed to have sprung from the feisty state of Georgia, a rip-roaring cultural and so terrific place.

The Impact of The Japanese

GOING TO OKINAWA JAPAN  really changed me.  The grand world of Japan is so culturally exciting.  Very little in American education prepares one for the massive impact of being there every day with the Okinawans and also for being with the incredible people of all Japan.  The vibrant art of the Japanese warrior can make us feel the tremendous passion of the dynamism of Japan's people.  This art piece of mine gives me great joy.

Frederic March Old Guy Greatness

THE SHREWD ONE, Frederic March was such an engaging actor.  His dramatic work in films had so many levels.  The man reminded me of the superman, Stanley Kubrick.  His moves were so calculating and full of resplendent style.  Recently I watched Mr. March in the unusual movie 'Middle of the Night' a great cinematic jewel he did with the superb lady of films, the serene Kim Novak. Like the wild Kandinsky art below. Mr. March overwhelms with his vibrant emotionalism. Such an artist!

Tennessee Williams Grand Artistry

A NEW FILM based on a Tennessee Williams screenplay puts a crafty focus so passionate on Deep South life so many moons ago.  This grand film talking about the loss of a lady's diamond earring stirs the cognitive creative juices in all of us.  The marvelous and so talented line producer Molly Mayeux did a marvelous modicum of work on this one.

This good Williams-oriented film has a poignant jazz feel; like the super-expressive saxophone sounds of me on my marvelous and so fun alto saxophone.  Yes Jazz is Good and Culturally enriched films are such a vibrant expressive mode for us all to enjoy.

Paris accord concepts

THE NEWS ON PARIS is so weird.  Clever decisionmaking or basic oddity 101.  What is really going on now?  Most of us cretins are confused with this dissonant verbiage going on.  We long for clear concise geopolitical thinking.  We need sleek Asiatic art like that shown below.  Our wily brains need to be refreshed.

Nice Writing

THE GOOD terse writing of Ernest Hemingway is a real joy.  He does not use too many adjectives.  His 'Torrents' is a fine tome.
