AMUSING times.  Watched the rather quaint time period...Brit and Irish- flavored Barry Lyndon...jewel film last evening.  It had plenty of engaging zest.

THE GOOD terse writing of Ernest Hemingway is a real joy.  He does not use too many adjectives.  His 'Torrents' is a fine tome.
