John Updike, The Super Prose Stylist

INDEED, MR. JOHN UPDIKE is a fine, heroic man with words.  His 'Rabbit Run' is a magnificent work.  It is fiery with articulate dissections of modern, urban society.

THE GOOD terse writing of Ernest Hemingway is a real joy.  He does not use too many adjectives.  His 'Torrents' is a fine tome.
