Phone Stuff
TRYING TO GET a live person on the phone is somewhat difficult in our culture. You try and try to get a person to talk with and you continually get..."At the tone, Leave a message.' It is rather perturbing. I wonder what guys like Tolstoy and Raymond Chandler would think of this cultural oddity.
