Widmark.....Strong-Minded Guy

TOUGH GUYS prove very interesting to me.  The wily actor, Richard Widmark, had an explosive, passionate intensity. The film 'Kiss of Death' was brittle and the movie hit so hard.  R. W. was clever.

THE GOOD terse writing of Ernest Hemingway is a real joy.  He does not use too many adjectives.  His 'Torrents' is a fine tome.
