'Slick' Television

SYLVESTER STALLONE was good on Letterman's show last evening.  The acerbic tough guy Stallone and the wily Letterman made a very nice blend.  Many amusing moments in the interview.  Letterman "gets it" as the clever ones say.

THE GOOD terse writing of Ernest Hemingway is a real joy.  He does not use too many adjectives.  His 'Torrents' is a fine tome.
