The Fascinating, Intense Mr. Bradley Cooper

BRADLEY COOPER brings to his acting work a brave intense focus that overwhelms us.  His pragmatic yet wildly surreal style is a terrific joy to watch.  His conjuring up the mad and picaresque world of the insane man in  Russell's gorgeous film, 'SILVER LININGS PLAYBOOK' puts the film enthusiast old me in a delightful frame of mind.  This kind of intellectualized joy is only matched by the time when I was a little "wunderkin" and maxed myself out reading my buddy Sigmund Freud for the first time.  The acting "chops' of Bradley Cooper are moving right along on filmdom's cascading pinball machine...in other words Mr. Cooper is diving into a profound Joycean stream-of-consciousness acting mode that is ironic and full of "Hitch" twists and listen everyone... it is such FUN to love the iconoclastic arena of movies again.

Nice Writing

THE GOOD terse writing of Ernest Hemingway is a real joy.  He does not use too many adjectives.  His 'Torrents' is a fine tome.
