Thanksgiving 2012

THANKSGIVING means so much to me.  I recall so many great memories of my Mother and My Dad getting ready for the big day at our home in the SW Ga town f Cairo.  The vibrant wild aromas of the good dressing, the fine turkey, the succulent breads, the incredible desserts and especially the red velvet cakes and pecan pies. Fun Time, Indeed! When Thanksgiving came we had marvelous meals with plenty of family around.  It is so good to have fantastic memories in our brains of all the marvelous passionate people of our rich and varied lives.  Let us be very thankful for our tremendous times in this life.  Let us be very HAPPY!  Let us get down on our hands and knees and be very thankful for the treasured moments and hours and the joyful excitement of real togetherness!

Nice Writing

THE GOOD terse writing of Ernest Hemingway is a real joy.  He does not use too many adjectives.  His 'Torrents' is a fine tome.
