Harry 'Sweets' Edison and Ben Webster
Listening this fine Wednesday afternoon to the super mainstream jazz of Harry "Sweets" Edison on trumpet and Ben Webster on tenor saxophone. These men do some very innovative...engaging work. The set I heard today...'Better Go'...had plenty of lyrical, so nice musical moments. "Sweets" Edison is one fine trumpet man and Ben Webster has a big tenor sound that has so much remarkable quality that it really draws listeners in and makes them delighted.
