Why Thoughts On Veterans

WHY OH WHY can't some people who have not been in the military show more respect to veterans.  Veterans seem so kind and understanding.  Why are non-veterans scared to feel empathy for those who have served.  It seems manly and indeed womanly to be kind to these people...Why isn't this mode of thinking popular now?

Hilarity of Politics

CLEVER COVERAGE going now on the political American variables.  One finds the sloth of human funny stuff engaging right now.  It proves culture is odd incorporated in grand old 2018.  Let's get absurd ...Heh, Heh.  Sinclair Lewis vagaries pop up constantly.

The Garbage of Jock Obsession

SO AWFUL...SO DISGUSTING.

When I was about age 13 I started getting utterly horrified with the absurd way my peers were so obsessed with JOCKS.  It was awful...so horrendous.  Girls liked only the JOCKS and unusual guys, the so called thinkers were just horrid piles of dung to these other pathetic and meaningless persons of the other segment of the human race.  My town had one coach who was especially yucky toward males who were not JOCKS.  The cultural slime that permeated Southern cultural pathos was hard to deal with.  Woe became a part of life to many persons of age 13.  Being punished was the order of the day for the non-sports types.  As adults psychic punishments are still raining down on us PSEUDO-HIP TYPES.

The Grand John McCain

JOHN McCAIN has proven so many times what a great man he is.  This veteran of The Vietnam War has so much courage.  I have the utmost respect for this Arizona man.  McCain inspires me to try very emphatically to be a better man.  When you are a man with real guts it helps you.  You soon have the fire and ice of real passion in your own soul.  I am glad to have experienced John McCain.  He is a GREAT HERO!

Mozart: Bassoon Concerto (complete) in B-flat major K 191, Aligi Voltan ...

Mel Torme...The Genius

SCAT SINGING is such a joy.  I listed to the exuberant scat singing of Mel Torme recently.  It was refreshing, indeed.  Music puts so much fine energy into yours truly.

Wonderful Kind People

THINGS ARE PERFECT:  Lately I have had so many people being so marvelously kind to me.  I must say this has been grand as one of my aunts used to say.  It is thrilling when goodness surrounds a person.  I have become quite enthused so I find myself listening to the lilting music of Frederic Chopin again.  And it all truly makes my life so vigorous and yes so superbly wonderful.

Veterans

OUR U.S. CULTURE is bizarre.  We have odd things going.  However, on Memorial Day let us do some fine things.  Let us remember our veterans...the people who made the giant sacrifice.  Let us stop the insane awful mean mode and be good human beings.

Mr. Hemingway's 'The Sun Also Rises'

THE WILD YEAR of 1926 brought us a startling volume of writing greatness.  Ernest Hemingway came out with his sleek masterpiece 'The Sun Also Rises.'  For certain the incisive and tough prose of Papa stood the ribald literary world on its ear.  This good muscular story of the overwhelming Jake Barnes and Robert and of course Lady Brett was so shrewd.  Like a good angus beef steak that's what this one was.  I will never forget the time that I first read 'Sun' and let me say right now I forgot about being the odd introvert male I was.  I wanted so very desperately to rise up and be a man's man...a character out of the fertile mind of E. Hemingway.  This story about the human beings who traveled from Paris to Pamplona to see the crushing spectacle of the bullfight scenarios was so passionate and My God so vibrant.  If we all learn to vividly enjoy the magnificent aura of powerhouse prose again then we can add so many levels and yes so many interesting dimensions to our somewhat humdrum lives.

Tom Wolfe, The Magnificent Innovator

GREATNESS PERSONIFIED passed away today.  Tom Wolfe, one of my favorite writing souls moved on down the road.  The man did so much zesty stuff with his new journalism motif.  His books were such shiny and profound works.  His 'Bonfire Of The Vanities' was a fantastic book indeed.  I will miss this great man of the writing world.

Respect John McCain

DISGUSTING,  the cruel, mean words aimed recklessly at John McCain in the last few days.  The man has a terrific record as an iconic hero...a veteran with so much courage and of course so much style.  How can cruel bureaucrats end up saying heinous things about a powerful soul like McCain.

Strong Jazz Guys Like Mr. Peterson

STRONG JAZZ can help the brain so much.  If you get where you listen to great men like Oscar Peterson on piano or the terrific and so clever wild fellow Sonny Stitt on Alto Sax you get to where you are instantly refreshed.  We all need something to help us shake off the crud doldrums of our sometimes wacky little lives.  I started listening to fast-paced and so vivid jazz when I was a somewhat odd teen.  I got hooked on this incredible cultural aura that is jazz.  When I heard the immortal trumpet elegant one Miles Davis on his iconic 'Kind of Blue' album it just swept me away.  The raw energy that is smokin' and shiny jazz music means a lot to the merry cadre I am in...i.e. the full-fledged free thinkers.  If you allow modern culture with its absurd culture of ill winds to decimate you with its torpid meaninglessness then you need to turn your somewhat disgusting lives around.  Take up the torch of strong jazz and I believe you will end up feeling much better.

Thank God For Cancer Doctors and Their Staffs

MY WIFE HAS CANCER.  We are still in combat with this rugged and so truly heinous horror.  However, I would say right now that our oncology doctor is doing a wonderful job helping us fight the good fight against the horrid 'C' word.  I am so thankful for our oncology doctor and her staff who are all working so hard on this matter for us.

Háry János: Sej, besoroztak

The Boring Mode That Is Sarcasm

IT IS A MYSTERY to me how many people delightfully seem to enjoy the blunt and basically boring and moronic philosophy of sarcasm.  This mundane way of thinking is pathetic.  It is mystyfying why this idiotic tripe that is sarcastic quicksand keeps proliferating like an incredible venereal disease.  Some quasi-intellectuals love to tear down other individuals.  I find that mindset ABHORRENT!  👇

Stop The Nihilist Horror That is REJECTION!!

REJECTION is so disgusting. When young people and even adults get slapped with harsh rejection over and over it is so misery-inflicting, so terrible.  Why can't family and friends show more loving to the maddening and so depressed that are in our society.  The mean crap espoused by discipline nutcakes needs to be done away with.  All humans have worth...Let us stop trying to throw the poor, wretched males and females into the vile quagmire that is insane loneliness and horrid, turgid sadness.

The Passionate, Joyful Men of Philadelphia

THE PHILADELPHIA EAGLES made me so happy at this year's Super Bowl.  It filled my soul totally to watch the strong men from Philly bring down the two oddballs, Mr Bill B. and Mr. Tom Brady.  I love the sincere guy, Mr, Foles.  What exquisite quarterbacking this man gave us.  This lovely Sunday evening in February was GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Unique Man Indeed---Sinatra

FRANK SINATRA ROARS POWERFULLY!  Say, when I listen to Francis Albert Sinatra I go into big adulation mode Number 1.  The terrific Sinatra does 'New York, New York' and I break down with emotion... 'My Way' slips along engulfing me, too.    'Wee Small Hours Of The Morning Swings so Grand.  The gentleman from Hoboken was one of a kind.  God Bless You!  You Spiritual New Jersey Soul!

Taking on Chastisement

I USED TO GET CHASTISED by others for being too dramatic.  Got this with negative fusillades often.  This befuddled me.  But one day I realized how many idiots and morons I had come to know.  My existence was a torpid modern day version of Thackeray's 'Vanity Fair.'  I am more gutsy now and I don't let the mean clowns bother me.  I am not a scared little kid anymore.  Years ago I read the James T.Farrell book, 'Studs Lonigan' and therefore now I have achieved a state of more mental emancipation.

Gauche Modes A La Francaise

OUR DECADENT MORASS OF CRAP FEELS LOONEY
The Americanistic lifestyle mode loads itself up with odd vibrations.  As the French said stuff is often gauche.  Old Jean Genet would grow tickled at the absurd mundane aspects of our middle class lives.  Our antics so often drive us insane...we  exist in a cauldron of gauche, gross thoughts.  Sartre, Roth and sleek Mailer would go wild in our quest for feisty football and other subhuman ideas.  Our women like football hero prototypes because they seem scared to death of males who know how to think...i.e. they do not like in the slightest way the men of intellectualism.  They cannot stand those guys because they upset the apple cart of their ideas.

Nice Writing

THE GOOD terse writing of Ernest Hemingway is a real joy.  He does not use too many adjectives.  His 'Torrents' is a fine tome.
