The Sleek and So Imaginative Man of Barcelona
Joan Miró i Ferrà (Catalan: [ʒuˈan miˈɾo]; 20 April 1893 – 25 December 1983) was a Spanish painter, sculptor, and ceramicist born in Barcelona. This fierce man of the incredible powerhouse arts was a vibrant soul of the surrealist genre. His electrifying art scenarios were daring and rich with an explosive dialectic of their own. When one looks at one of this master's painting then one is instantly overwhelmed. His vision like that of the raging Wassily Kandinsky jumps right off the painting's surface and slashes into your consciousness in a brazen, breakthrough way. Like the crashing and so irreverent jazz musical art of the provocative jazz alto saxophonist Charlie Parker this individual, the merry Senor M. the Catalan is stupendous in his crackling and strong passionate art message. I enjoy the vigorous surrealism of the explosive grand one, Joan Miró i Ferrà. He is a massive man of art.....A TRULY GREAT ONE!

Nice Writing
THE GOOD terse writing of Ernest Hemingway is a real joy. He does not use too many adjectives. His 'Torrents' is a fine tome.

COOLING OFF WITH WEST COAST JAZZ is loads of fun. The temp is wildly hot now and so I listened to Art Pepper jazz, grand West Coast stuff....
