What Jazz Means To Me
VIBRANT, EXCITING JAZZ stirs my fiery inner being in an awesome way. I feel Jazz remains essential to the deep soul of me a Southern man. The sounds of virile jazz especially those of the wild modernism indicate a depth of raw, vivid emotionalism so strong and so meaningful..Whether you like Archie Shepp, Ornette Coleman, Coltrane, Miles, Dizzy or Yotam Silberstein ...just remember all of this energy art form proves a lusty and garnd and oh my... such a terrific life experience, indeed!

Nice Writing
THE GOOD terse writing of Ernest Hemingway is a real joy. He does not use too many adjectives. His 'Torrents' is a fine tome.

COOLING OFF WITH WEST COAST JAZZ is loads of fun. The temp is wildly hot now and so I listened to Art Pepper jazz, grand West Coast stuff....
In my mind, I believe jazz to be a great energizer. When one listens to the creative, thoughtful solos of Dizzy Gillespie or Charlie Parker with his hard-driving, ribald and wild improvisations then one can dive deep into a multi-laden modicum of experience that is so exciting and passionate sort of like reading the sleek prose of the master, Grahame Greene, for the first time.
