Agatha Christie Is 'Cool.'
YES, AGATHA CHRISTIE is so "cool." The elegant woman of mystery writing fame produced so many clever, sleek books that always snared us and made us come away with an engaging reading experience. Her 'And Then There Were None' and 'Styles Affair' were co wily and chic and sharply-honed chunks of prose. The wild and intense mystery-style prose of Christie is so memorable...and so great.

Nice Writing
THE GOOD terse writing of Ernest Hemingway is a real joy. He does not use too many adjectives. His 'Torrents' is a fine tome.

COOLING OFF WITH WEST COAST JAZZ is loads of fun. The temp is wildly hot now and so I listened to Art Pepper jazz, grand West Coast stuff....
