George C. Scott
PASSION MAN, GEORGE C. SCOTT: This gentleman is the personification of genius and true intensity. His work in 'Dr. Strangelove' and 'Patton' ----My, My so incredible. The bizarre George Scott in 'Strangelove' represents such a terrific achievement. Also, his odd work in crafty jewels like 'The New Centurions' is interesting. The fine ones like George C. Scott have given us so many tremendous memories.

Nice Writing
THE GOOD terse writing of Ernest Hemingway is a real joy. He does not use too many adjectives. His 'Torrents' is a fine tome.

COOLING OFF WITH WEST COAST JAZZ is loads of fun. The temp is wildly hot now and so I listened to Art Pepper jazz, grand West Coast stuff....
