Mystery style programs intensity can crackle

'PERSON OF INTEREST' strikes me as a shrewd television show. The idea is to ratchet up the amount of mystery intensity really powerfully and thoroughly engage the viewer. This CBS show does a fine job of bringing that kind of stuff to fruition. It is my thought that grand mystery shows are so satisfying because in a remarkable way they meld the sleek tributaries of emotionalism and the unique brainy thoughtfulness of picaresque intellectualism.  I know 'Person of Interest' gets all cylinders going and the mental engine of the thing crackles with intensity.

Nice Writing

THE GOOD terse writing of Ernest Hemingway is a real joy.  He does not use too many adjectives.  His 'Torrents' is a fine tome.
