'PSYCHO' has a smashing film energy.  This film by the crafty Alfred H. is full of incredible emotion.  The horror in this movie will certainly beguile you.  Let me say this....the performance of the beautiful  actress, Janet Leigh, is also brilliantly amazing..

Dizzy Gillespie and 'Night in Tunisia'

DIZZY GILLESPIE is a terrific man of the trumpet.  His unique style is provocative.  His music is so memorable.  I will never forget the first time I heard the uncanny classic jazz tune of his....'Night in Tunisia.'  The mystery and the profound cascading notes of this jazz work had so much glittering and iconoclastic style.  It was pure insane joy listening to John Birks Gillespie...a.k.a. "Dizzy" ...play this vigorous and wildly melodic intense jazz exuberance..

ATL Sunny Today

LOTS OF SUN today here in metro Atlanta.  I feel sorry for friends in the Northeast with the brutal blizzard.  Let's all hang together  and enjoy Dizzy and J. Cash and the great acting of De Niro.

I HAD GIGANTIC enjoyment today watching the fine David Russell film, 'Silver Linings Playbook.'  The cinematic work in this gem is amazing.  Jennifer Lawrence is a GENIUS!  Her work is remarkable in this tremendous story.

ENJOYING the wild, lovely art of Kandinsky today.  Studying the art of Mr. K. and the joyous art of Marc Chagall is a huge delight.

Mr. Bogart

THE MALTESE FALCON was fantastic on TCM last night.  Watching the incredible performance of the esteemed Mr. H. Bogart is a terrific joy!  The classic 'Falcon' film is a clever masterpiece of mystery.  Also, the director, John Huston, did a marvelous job on this cinematic gem.

Atlanta's Buckhead Area Has Super Restaurants

RECENTLY, I visited the mighty Buckhead Diner again.  This Atlanta restaurant is fabulous.  The crab cakes I had the other day were scrumptious...The Buckhead area is fascinating. Another favorite eating place of mine is the great Atlanta classic traditional food spot, The Colonnade.  The food is incredible...so delicious.  The seafood and chicken are tremendously delightful. And the service is a true delight.  Go to Atlanta's dynamic Buckhead and get charmed by Southern cuisine and grand creativity,
