Joan Miro
MIRO'S ART is exuberantly shrewd and so intensely intricate. Like Rene Magritte, Joan Miro is a wild, passion-filled essence that feels intoxicating. The art of Chagall and Miro is deliciously cunning and mod and oh so satisfying.

Movie Directors
FACT: The job of a movie director is often quite difficult but many people have done the job well. Hitch comes to mind, John Ford, Lubitsch and Mike Nichols. The cultural arena that is the director's ouevre is often a very steep slope. I know the super moments in my life have come from watching the film directors wizardry unfold. Stuart Woods
NEW STUART WOODS novel entitled 'Paris Match' is so good. This man has a clever writing style that zips the reader right along. This fine new one of his chronicling the doings of one Stone Barrington is a first-rate tome, indeed.

Nice Writing
THE GOOD terse writing of Ernest Hemingway is a real joy. He does not use too many adjectives. His 'Torrents' is a fine tome.

COOLING OFF WITH WEST COAST JAZZ is loads of fun. The temp is wildly hot now and so I listened to Art Pepper jazz, grand West Coast stuff....
