Mr.Tyner

VIBRANT JAZZ coming from the artistry of elegant piano man, McCoy Tyner is so marvelous.  This guy knows how to develop sleek jazz that overwhelms us all.  Indeed Jazz of this prodigious magnitude is an experience that one always remembers.

Johnny Griffin Sextet - Johnny Griffin Sextet (Full Album)

Southwest Georgia Passionate People

THE SPIRITED people of Southwest Georgia are fascinating.  People all over the Deep South [including the bizarre Atlanta area] have very little awareness of the remarkable denizens of sw ga.  These wild and tough culture real Georgia men and women have an artistic emotionalism that is hard to figure.  My town of Cairo had many feisty art souls,  We did plays like 'The Boor' By Chekov and many moons ago there was a poignant and good interpretation of the Tennessee Williams classic 'The Glass Menagerie.'  It has always amused me how some arty clever personas all want to look down on my people as looney 'Mencken-Style' 'Sahara of the Bozart People.  The truth is...the folks of Southwest Georgia are marvelous individualists who know how to have energetic, good lives.

Chuck Berry - Reelin' and Rockin'

Fabulous Day Indeed

I AM SO HAPPY.  I had massive technology problems but by remaining calm I got all my chaos fixed.  I have defied the mundane crud of Ray Bradbury and crafty Ford Madox Ford and T. Dreiser.  Now all is OK...Thanks Be To God!

Mr. James M. Cain....The Wild One

'SERENADE' is a powerful and so ribald work by that crafty guy by the name of James M Cain.  This sinewy story of the opera human being and his sleek lady friend remains a brutal, hustling and so ironic tough guy hunk of prose.  Mr. Cain remains a badnik if ever there was one.  His rippling badness feels like fun.  The mean one named Cain can conjure up a fine story.  Yes, Cain you're fine.  You're fine.  Perfect as a friend of mine used to say.

Nice Writing

THE GOOD terse writing of Ernest Hemingway is a real joy.  He does not use too many adjectives.  His 'Torrents' is a fine tome.
